Yesterday my mother was hearty in saying that she didn’t give me my curly hair just for me to flatten the heck out of it. Not her words exactly but I knew that was what she wanted to say. But in retaliation, I came out with, “Then why do you keep stealing my straightener?” I love my mom, and I love when we get into little spats, because she loves making me look stupid, and vice versa =) So in honour of my mother, here’s my hair, au natural, no straightening, no extensions. And to make my boyfriend happy, minimal make-up.
